Founded under the name of Tokyo Food Products Co., Ltd. with the capital of 180 thousand yen. November 1946  
  March 1956 Founded under the name of Tradax Limited.
Involved in agency business of grain sales from Cargill Inc.
Changed its name to Toshoku Ltd. and increased its capital nine times after the foundation. The capital reached 1,400 million yen. January 1961  
  June 1983 Changed its corporate name to Cargill Limited.
  March 1985 Changed its corporate name to Cargill North Asia Limited.
  January 1992 Changed its corporate name to Cargill Japan Limited.
Merged Nichibei Fuji Cycle Co., Ltd. The Capital reached 37,190 million yen. November 1996  
Filed a petition for Commencement of the Corporate Reorganization Proceedings. December 1997  
Cargill Inc. became Toshoku's sponsor company October 1998  
Approval of the Reorganization Plan by the Court. June 2000  
Decreased its capital by 100% to 0 and increased its capital to 2.5 billion yen. Became a 100% subsidiary of Cargill September 2000 Cargill Asia Pacific Ltd. becomes 100% owner of Toshoku.
Moved its headquarters to 2-3, Marunouchi 3-chome, Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo and continuing business activities. October 2000  
Approval of the completion of the Reorganization Proceedings by the Court. February 2004  
Change of organization to 4 business departments and appointment of 4 assistant vice presidents June 2006  
Merged Cargill Japan and changed its corporate name to Cargill Japan Limited.
The capital for the new company is increased to 2.8 billion yen.
Grain & Oil Business Department joined with Grain & Oilseed Supply Chain Asia(Japan) Business Unit.
